Impact & finances
We file a Form 990 every year and the return is public. The figures below are from the fiscal year ending 2023 — not rounded up, not adjusted for the website.
What the numbers look like together
Read plainly: the organisation spends about a third of what it takes in and holds the rest as reserves and programme assets. For a food organisation, part of that reserve is inventory and equipment that has to exist before a season starts.

Where the money goes
Seed and transplants, water and irrigation repair, tools that get used by a hundred households a year, greenhouse heat in spring, stipends for the people who run the mobile market, insurance for volunteers on site, and the bookkeeping that keeps all of the above filable.
We do not run a reserve we cannot explain, and we do not put programme money into anything that is not a programme. If you want the detail, ask for the return and we will send the PDF.
