Last December, Sprout and volunteers from First Congregational Church and Green Gardens Community Farm convened on the greenhouse located on the property of Leila Arboretum.

The volunteers spent hours organizing pots and moving tables for the greenhouse's new mission.

Sprout and the Arboretum partnered to allow Sprout to plant in ground vegetables for sale at farmer's markets and Sprout's mobile market.

Over the past several months, Sprout has grown carrots, collard greens, eggplant, kale, spinach, Swiss chard, and tomatoes.
